I am on Kauai once or twice per year. If I shoot full frame, I will bring a 24-70 and a 70-200. If I shoot a 1.5 crop, I bring a 17-55 and the 70-200. Be sure to use a polarizer and take extra care to keep salt spray away from your camera. 'We always go the Captain Andy's and go in the early am (first boat out). Going in the early am, the seas will be flatter, and better sun angles. Best of luck. Drop me an email if you need additional information.

These pictures are awesome! I am going there next week and can't wait. What focal lengths did you use for these shots? I am trying to get prepared for a sailboat tour we are doing of the Na Pali coast and deciding what to take
